Here is a simple guide to keep the entire session stable when it comes to speed.
- Click ‘ Start > Settings > Control Panel ‘ to open the Windows XP Control Panel.
- In the Windows Control Panel double click the ‘ Phone and Modem Options ‘ Icon.
- Then click the Tab which is labeled ‘ Modems ‘, select your modem and click the ‘ Properties ‘ button.
- Click the ‘ Connections ‘ tab and proceed through to the ‘ Advanced ‘ button. In the ‘ Extra Settings ‘ field, enter S36=7 then click ‘ OK ‘ to save your settings.
